In the summer of 2003 after several years of looking for a new home with land in order to have our llamas be with us, we found that place. After a summer of doing improvements to the house we finally were able to make the move in September. We have a wonderful big red barn with six stalls and a big loft that has  room for our hay. There are six acres for the fourteen animals we will be bringing over from our llama partner's farm (five minutes away from our home).

We will still continue the partnership of animals we have enjoyed for the past six years with Cherigene Slaughter and Different Drummer Llamas. Without her and her friendship we would not have had the enjoyment of these wonderful animals. Now when people come to visit our farms they can have 'double the pleasure '. - Harold and Joyce Arnold
On October 17 we brought over two female llamas, Evening Joy and Morning Glory. Glory is due to have baby and we are going to keep watch. It was fun to stand and see them as they would look around at new surroundings. They expecially stood tall when they saw something strange two houses away - horses. They all stood looking across the fields at each other. This was the first time they had ever seen a horse. The next day was even more amazing as they found their neighbor right behind them was also a horse and a minature donkey.

In the next few week we are planning on moving the rest of the herd over. Fencing is almost done, stalls have been clean out and food is in tack room waiting for their arriva

Here is the gang of six intact males and one gelding. On a February day when the sun was shining brightly I walked in front of the barn and there were all seven standing on steps together. I told them to stand while I ran back to get camera. They did.
